Directions to Trailhead:

Take I-40 east towards Holbrook. Petrified Forest National Park is located 24 miles east of Holbrook, at Exit 311. Once inside the park, pay your entrance fee and drive along the main road to the Crystal Forest Trailhead.

Trail Description:

This paved trail is a 0.8 mile long loop hike that gives visitors an up-close look at the petrified wood that covers the land. Signage along the trail gives you information on how the woods became petrified.
